An ace media personality and a development Queenmother, Nana Adjoa Awindor was already trailblazing in her field of endeavor (Photography, documentary & film production, tv host, Multimedia Trainer, Women and Children Advocate etc) and in the development space working on different development programs and connecting Queenmothers to development partners and embassies as the CEO of Premier Production Limited when she hatched that idea to formally establish an organization that will lead in the advancement of women and girls.

Her vision was to make a difference in the lives of women and children whom she believes are at the center of abuse and discrimination of all kinds.

From that revolutionary idea, Obaapa Development Foundation was founded as the social responsibility wing of Premier Productions Ltd., in year 2010 and registered it in 2013.

Over the years, the foundation has succeeded reshaping the way community leaders, especially Queenmothers care for their girls by building their capacities in leadership and Cube Convos. ODF further started one of its flagship projects, the Teenage Mothers Back to School Project…
