Tortsogbeza Festival in Sokpoe
During the Tortsogbeza Festival in Sokpoe, South Tongu District, Volta Region, ODF held its third Women and Children's Day event. Themed "Queenmothers as advocates and community Change Agents-Addressing issues of child protection, adolescent sexual reproductive health rights and the fight against harmful cultural practices," the event featured mentorship sessions led by queen mothers, focusing on responsible adulthood and the importance of education. Activities included a cooking competition emphasizing local dishes, sponsored by Tasty Tom, and discussions on topics such as exclusive breastfeeding, early child marriages, and teenage pregnancy.

At the Apirede Akuapem Festival, ODF initiated a Women's Day celebration aimed at supporting the development of women and children.
