ENDING CHILD MARRIAGE IN GHANA, ONE PARAMOUNTCY AT A TIME!

From Monday 28th October through Friday 1st November 2024, Obaapa Development Foundation (ODF) in partnership with UNFPA Ghana with the support of Ministry of Chieftancy & Religious Affairs and PAYDP engaged with Chiefs and Queenmothers of Agona Nyakrom Traditional Area in a Capacity-Building Workshop, Community Engagements and a Declaration Durbar to End Child Marriage in Agona Nyakrom Metropolis.

The program was hosted by The Paramount Chief (Omanhen) of Agona Nyakrom Traditional Area, Okofo Katakyi Nyarko Eku X.

On Monday, 28th October the Obaapa Development Foundation team paid a courtesy visit to Agona Nyakrom palace to pay homage to the Omanhen and elders to brief them before the program officially starts.
